Mr Raymond SZETO is a Chartered Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor with over 50 years of experience in quantity surveying, commercial and contractual services, project cost/programme controls, delays and disruption analysis in many mega civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Raymond had been appointed as director of Mott MacDonald Consultants Limited and director of claim consultants. He had also been engaged as director, general manager with major contractors as well as an alternate board member for a number of sizeable joint venture construction contracts. In addition, he had been appointed as an independent consultant by a number of major consulting firms including Mott MacDonald, Scott Wilson, Fugro etc. on specific tasks.

Major projects Raymond had participated throughout his career years included the Airport Core Programme (ACP) contracts, SSDS sewage collection and disposal work contracts, MTRC railway contracts and KCRC East Rail Extension contracts. Significant civil and infrastructure works involved also comprised major dredging, reclamation and seawall works, container terminals, airport terminal, submarine pipelines, treatment facilities for clean water and sewage, gas pipelines, highway / railway / sewage tunnels, tunnel ventilation, toll collection, tunnel supervisory systems, North Lantau expressway to airport, Tsing Ma suspension bridge, highway viaducts, deep sewage tunnels and sewage shafts, submarine outfall, power station, railway projects and immersed tube rail tunnel across the harbour.
